木漏れ日
Komorebi

Presentation

Demo: opening scene (original poem translated to Vietnamese).

“Where does light and life come from. And is it the same place?”

Vietnam is where the Komorebi art project will be launched. We will draw inspiration from the country’s nature, culture and people.

Through interactive scenography, a minimalistic stage will showcase the main character’s memories and dreams, projecting symbolic layers in a dynamic interplay with the dancer and their expression of the emotional journey.

The creation combines experimental sound design, projection mapping, poetry and movement.

Our hero will reconcile with his painful past, on a personal and spiritual level.

His story of redemption will bring hope for new generations, in the form of a bright ray of light.

木漏れ日 KOMOREBI Poem by Ashley Obscura

Where does light
And life
Come from

And is it
The same place?

There is a thousand-petalled star
In a force field somewhere in my heart

Sphere of wound
psychic light

I merge the world inside me

With the world outside me

Light and life
Come from
The same place
